I was looking for something reliable because my ears are easily fooled by the overtones vs the actual pitch, but I find the tune-bot to be even more easily fooled than my own ears Other times you can hit the same lug twice in succession and get two completely different readings! I have tried hitting hard and hitting soft. Other times I will tighten the lug and the number doesn't change. It will read out the same number on two lugs that are clearly at different pitches. I have the Tune bot and IMO, it is less than worthless
